Orarae Hope Alive Foundation Fetes Children At Yuletide
. Supports Children With Awards For Academic Performance, Other Giveaways

In the spirit of Yuletide, Orarae Hope Alive Foundation recently organized an impactfu end-of-year giveaway outreach for over 150 underprivileged children in the Ajegunle area of Apapa, Lagos State.
The giveaway outreach which celebrated the children between the ages of 5 to 15 years, features the distribution gift packages to all the participating children, consisting of school bags, notebooks, and essential food items.

The Foundation also present academic excellence awards to outstanding children for their remarkable performance throughout the school year.
The Founder and Managing Director, Orarae Hope Alive Foundation, Mrs. Ayiri Oladunmoye, said the programme was organised in line with the Foundation’s vision to empower, encourage, and deveop a child.

She said the event aimed to bring joy and support to children from challenging circumstances, while providing them with essential items and recognizing academic achievements.
Oladunmoye said, “The end-of-year giveaway outreach was a resounding success, touching the lives of 150 children in the Ajegunle locaity. The event not only provided essential items to the children but also celebrated academic accomplishments, fostering hope and encouragement for a brighter future.

“The Foundation remains committed to the mission of making a meaningful difference in the lives of underprivileged children,” she said.
She personally presented the gifts in beautifully packaged gift bags to each chid, spreading joy and gratitude.
The Programme Executive, Orarae Hope Alive Foundation, Imaobong Essien, said in statement issued to SlyeNews that the Foundation also distributed gift packages to all 150 children, consisting of school bags, notebooks, and essential food items.
Snacks and Meals Distribution
Cooked meals and refreshing drinks along with water were also distributed, ensuring that the children enjoyed a satisfying and nourishing experience, Essien said, adding that the Foundation also provided a delightful array of snacks, including popcorn and candy foss, adding a touch of festivity to the event.

Presenting the academic excellence awards to the children, Oladunmoye acknowledged the academic achievements by awarding a cash prize of N20,000 each to three outstanding children for their remarkable performance in school.
Entertainment and Engagement
The event featured lively music, dance performances, and brain teaser questions. The presence of live music created an engaging, comfortable, and enjoyable atmosphere for the children.
In addition to the distribution of school bags, notebooks, and food items, the foundation distributed clothes, shoes, and other essential items to further cater to the needs of the less privileged children.

Further ensuring the security of the children, a 30-seater Coaster bus was provided to transport children from five different locations to the venue, enhancing accessibility and safety.
The locations include the Ibafun, Tolu, Boundary, Orege, and Alakoto communities of Ajegunle.
The outreach brought together volunteers, partners, and staff of Orarae Hope Alive Foundation, fostering a sense of community support and collaboration.
