Nigerian man riding from London to Lagos, Kunle Adeyanju has continued to share his experience across countries, as he arrives Mali.

 

Adeyanju, who recently arrived in Mali revealed that he bumped into his admirer, another Nigerian who lives Kidira a town around the Senegal-Mali border.

 

According to him, the man named Adeola flagged him down and claimed that he has been waiting for him at the border since 10 am when he saw his tweet about being in Tambacounda, Senegal.

 

Adeola encouraged Adeyanju on his cross-country trip and they took a selfie together.

 

”Adeola a Nigerian living in Kidira a border town on the Senegal – Mali border, frantically flagged me down and said, I have been waiting for you since 10am when I saw your post yesterday that you were in Tambacounda!… Thumbs up!” he wrote.

 

Adeyanju had earlier said that touts, police and Customs in Mauritania ‘extorted’ N124,000 from him when he wanted to cross a big river with his bike and enter Senegal.

 

Adeyanju said he refused to pay and they wanted to seize his bike. He finally paid the N124,000 for the five minutes boat crossing against his wish.

 

Adeyanju who is currently on a “charity ride” from London to Lagos, embarked on the journey on April 19 and on Day 13, he tweeted that he had arrived in St. Louis, Senegal, from Mauritania after crossing the Sahara Desert through Morocco.
