The BNU commended the Muhammadu Buhari administration for the unity of the fragile country, saying that the performance of the government on  security is unacceptable and that has led to the subsequent visa restrictions for the country.
The group noted that the Nigerian economy with the oil price down and the impact of COVID-19 has presented a big challenge for the country of more than 200 million citizens, expressing hope that with three more years for this administration, there’s a task that must be done.
As for COVID – 19, the Diaspora group said  until a vaccine is developed, and effective treatment modality is approved by WHO,  CDC,  and NCDC, social distancing, use of face mask, delayed  school opening, adequate information on the need for hand washing, and avoiding large gathering must be seen as a must.
They therefore expressed optimism that the world would eventually  defeat Coronavirus with God’s help and scientific innovation.
