Continental President of Women in Maritime Africa (WIMAfrica), Mrs Jean Chiazor Anishere Anishere, has been honoured by the Maritime Academy Of Nigeria, Oron, Akwa Ibom.
The President of WIMAfrica Nigeria Chapter, Mrs Rollens Macfoy, disclosed this in a statement signed by the group’s Public Relations Officer, Mrs Aisha Cole, in Lagos.

According to the academy, more personalities who contribute to the training of cadets would be honoured as time goes by.
Reacting to the honor bestowed on her, Anishere, said that she was full of joy and expressed her gratitude to those who nominated her for the award.
She said that the book titled : “Essays in Admiralty ‘ Vols 1, 2 and 3” to the library of MAN Oron of which she disclosed has been her joy towards contributing to the knowledge of the young cadets.
“It feels really good to be appreciated and I find this recognition so encouraging. It will surely spur me to do more for our cadets in terms of securing jobs for them and encouraging them to greater frontiers.
”I thank all those who nominated me for this huge recognition and I pledge to do more for MAN Oron,” she said.
