Lego Consult Marks 25th Anniversary In Grand Style

It was celebrations galore in Lagos, as Lego Consult Limited, an indigenous engineering and architecture firm clinched 25 years of excellent service delivery.
Lego Consult was established in Lagos in 1997, to change the narrative in architecture, engineering and building construction sector.
Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Lego Consult, Arc. Taofiq Jide Simisaye, said Lego Consult places strong emphasis on creative design details, practicality as well as cost optimization of every solution, describing it as a firm of multi-disciplinary professionals with expertise in different phases of project development and implementation.
He said: “Over the years the company has trained more than 50 fresh graduates from the field of architectural, building technology and engineering many of whom are doing very well in their career all over the country and abroad.
“The company also recruited industrial trainees from various Polytechnics and Universities across the country, where they are exposed to practical knowledge in architecture, engineering and building construction,” he stated.
Tracing the origin of the company, Simisaye said Lego consult was officially established 25 years ago in a one room office space at Papa Ajao, Daleko area of Lagos, as an architectural design firm with just one staff, Akeem Adeshina employed as a draftsman.
“Two years after, the company moved to a flat, employed four more staff and engaged artisans (bricklayer, welders, carpenters among others) and evolve into a construction company. Since then, the company has been responding to an increasingly complex environment in the design and construction industry.
“In 2007, the company became a limited liability company having two other directors and engaged more seasoned professionals from the construction industry,” he stated.
Simisaye, who is popularly known as Arc. Jide is a consummate, fascinating, inspirational, innovative, amiable, and resilient architect with over 25 years experience in the building construction, project management, interior design, real estate and architectural design, which is his major.
He was able to put together a formidable team of architects, engineers, builders, quantity surveyor and other management professionals who offers comprehensive design, engineering consultancy, corporate administration, planning services and project management to meet the divergent needs of clients in Lagos, Abuja, Ekiti, Imo state and beyond.

Some of the notable successfully designed and construction projects from inception to completion are: Gmt Terminal office Apapa; Medlog Logistics Workshop Alakija; Saba Steel Industries Head office Amuwo; Umsah Apartments Abuja, Pathfinder Hotel, Ado-Ekiti; Falana & Falana Chambers Office Complex, Abuja & Lagos; ETF Renovation of Secondary School in Ekiti State; Upright Hotels, Abeokuta.
Others are: Prestige Paints Factory Atan, Landscaping of National University Commission, Abuja; Prime Estate, Phase I & II, Ofada; Treasure Palace Hotel, Lagos; Yemkem Pharmaceutical Factory, Igbesa, Ogun State and Peve Dental Clinic, Agege, Lagos.

According to Simisaye, Lego Consult is also the project manager at the renovation of Lagos Chambers of Commerce & Industries Office in V.I; Lagos Bus Terminal Project; Greenwich Gardens Lagos and many other residential projects.
He said: “Our objective is to sustain our growth, hence we strive to retain our focus prompt attention to clients, therefore our organization is structured to be sensitive and responsive to the concern of the client.
“This has never been an easy task, of course but Lego Consult Limited rose to the challenge 25 years ago and continues to address that challenge today. This is why every job captain is trained to be passionately devoted to his project,” he stated.
