. Two rescued alive, says NEMA

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has confirmed that two people are already rescued alive from the collapsed 21 storey building on Gerald Road Ikoyi, Lagos.

The Acting Coordinator of the Lagos Territorial Office of NEMA, Mr Ibrahim Farinloye, in an update said: “We are on ground and mobilising resources,”

He added that, “two people have been rescued alive”.

According to him, the collapsed building is a multi-purpose structure.
