Grand Laureates Schools has expressed its commitment to growing young minds with passion for creativity and innovation through digital learning techniques.
The Proprietress of the school, Mrs Idayat Salau, stated this at the 2021 Graduation Ceremony of the school in Golden Estate, Obasanjo, Ota, Ogun State.
Salau said the school established the importance of creativity and innovation by dolling out prizes to the most creative student and most innovative students in the academic year. Winners of these prizes are: Festus Odewale and Owolabi Uthman.
She enjoined parents to closely monitor their children and bring out the best in them, noting that, “the educational background of the children play a vital role in their future and their way of life”
She said: Building a total child is our watchword at Grand Laureates Schools and we will leave no stone unturned to ensure that our scholars have a robust academic career.
“As we pursue this goal. I will advice our noble parents sited here today to do much more. It is your primary responsibility. Monitor your children closely. Train them, Help them build their inherent skills and ensure that you give the best to them, because they deserve the best,” she stated.
Salau urged parents to give priority to school fees, adding that finance is the basis for solid educational system.
Appreciating the teachers, she said Grand Laureates Schools parade quality, professional tutors whose qualification and competence is second to none.
Chairman of the day, and Chairman, Parent Teachers Association (PTA) Mr Saheed Akerele, who was represented by his wife, commended the school for instilling the culture of reading in the students through modern teaching techniques.
