The World Trade Centre building located in Abuja Nigeria has been gutted by fire Monday.
The fire started at top of a section of the World Trade Center complex and spread to other parts, an eyewitness said.
The Federal Fire Service in a tweet said: “Our men are already at the scene.”
The complex comprises a luxury apartment building and offices.
A source at the centre said the fire has been put out adding that there was no cause for alarm, as there were no significant damages recorded.
The World Trade Centre is a complex of eight buildings under construction in the Central Business District of Abuja.
There are seven skyscrapers planned for the site, two of which have already been topped out, with the others either under construction or at various stages of development.
