53 vessels laden with fuel, others, expected at Lagos ports

No fewer than 53 vessels are expected to arrive at the Lagos pilotage district with various cargoes, including petroleum products, used vehicles, wheat, fish, Gypsum and a host of others.
This is coming on the heels of another 16 vessels carrying wheat, soya beans, B/Malts and containerized cargoes are waiting to berth at the Apapa and TinCan Island ports in Lagos.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), which revealed these in its shipping position, said the expected vessels would start arriving Lagos anchorage from now to February 27, 2021.
About 15 of the vessels will be berthing at various terminals at TinCan Island port, while 38 others will berth at Apapa port.
The vessels expected include; Grande Argentina, Grande Togo, Monza, Grande Tema, Prestige Ace, Msc Tamara, Msc Oriane, Gh Meltemi, As Camellia, Zhoushan Island, 8. St. Stella Theresa, Mt Clenston, Mt Ashabi, Navios Magnolia, Invincible, Bao Resource, Green Italia, Pine Olia, Imperial Eagle, and Merkur Ocean among others.
