Ogun Governor Inaugurates Ahmadiyya Technical College In Ilaro

The Ogun state Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun will Inauguratè the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat of Nigeria, Masroor International Technical College, MITC ilaro, on November 7th 2024.
The Masroor International Technical College (MITC) is an initiative of the International Association of Ahmadi Architects and Engineers (IAAAE), born out of the need for an international technical college that aligns with industrial standards and emerging technological advancements.
After the official launch, MITC will flag off with an initial intake of 40 Nigerian youth, setting a new pace in the capacity development industry.
MITC was endorsed by His Holiness, Hazrat Masroor Ahmad (May Allah be his Helper), the worldwide head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, following a proposal from IAAAE, supervised by Brother Umar Sahib.
Under the guidance of the Naib Amir for Finance and Administration, Alhaji M. Bankole Sahib (Chairman, IAAAE), and with the permission of the Amir, Alhaji Abdul Azeez Alatoye Sahib, the Nigerian chapter of IAAAE commenced operations, while Engineer Abdul Waheed A. Adeoye was appointed Board Chairman.
On July 21st, 2023, Engineer Abdul Waheed A. Adeoye Sahib inaugurated a board committee comprising respected Jamaat members such as: Engineer A. Alli (Vice Chairman); Engineer Aina (Board Secretary); Alhaji DK Shokunbi (Finance Director); Doctor OON Giwa; Brother Adewara Monsur Babalola (Curriculum); Brother Abdul Qadir G.A (Management); Mrs. Suwebat Odeyemi and Mrs. Khadijat Ajayi (Student Affairs).
Through the board’s relentless efforts and dedication, MITC has acquired essential documents (C.A.C and NBTE Certificate); established well-equipped and furnished classrooms, administrative offices, and facilities.
Other feats achieved by the board was that it provided standard tools and equipment for practical learning; created a serene learning environment; and recruited qualified Administrative Staff and instructors.
