In retirement, Olotu Shines, Bags Award As Most Outstanding Woman In Ports Operations

The Nigerian ports community has once again affirm the indelible footprint of the retired AGM Tariff and Billing of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) and immediate past Port Manager of Apapa Port Complex, Lagos, Mrs. Olufunmilayo Olotu, as she was conferred with an award as the Most Outstanding Woman in Ports Operations.
It’s noteworthy that though retired, her giant strides in the Nigerian Maritime space, keep receiving acknowledgments and compliments.
In her acceptance speech, Olotu urged women not to use their gender as an excuse to underperform, she enjoined women to take the bull by the horn and make the desired changes in the world.
The event was graced by maritime and energy doyennes including Mrs. Jean Chiazor Anishere, Mrs. Odunayo Ani (newly elected WISTA President), Ms. Vivian – DG Chamber of Shipping), Mrs. Tosan Edodo-Emore (Maritime Lawyer), Mrs. Macfoy (WIMA President) among others.
