School Applauds Dana Air’s Contribution To Child Education In Nigeria
The management of The Oakfield Schools, has commended leading Nigerian Airline, Dana Air, after the pupils of the school successfully concluded a facility tour of the terminal 2 of the Muritala Muhammed Airport (MM2), Lagos and boarding of one of the aircrafts.
The school had visited terminal 2 of the MMA, Lagos, on Thursday, for a facility tour and were taken round airport facilities, thereby giving the children a firsthand experience of how an airplane works.
The facility tour is part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), of Dana Airline to developing child education in Nigeria.
SlyeNews gathered that Dana airline had so far opened its aircraft doors to over 1,000 pupils drawn from various schools across Lagos and Ogun State.
Commending the airline, the Proprietress of the school, Mrs Olapeju Babalola, expressed happiness and satisfaction that Dana Air is once again leading in the drive to impact on the lives of children.
She stated that with the organization’s initiative, it showed that Dana Airline identifies with all global and local initiatives to improve the education pursuit of children.
“We appreciate Dana airline for their support towards our school. This is because we are reputed for providing quality education including facility tours that will allow the pupils gain practical and first hand knowledge of subjects taught in classrooms.
“Also, our academic curriculum focuses on engaging students in practical experiences to observe the implementation of what were taught in class. However, our strong believe in your company has been confirmed through the first hand and relevant knowledge, shared with our pupils as they gain first class knowledge and understanding of flight operations from our visit to your facility.”
