After Sanctioning 11 DISCOs, NERC Begins Refund To Customers

Following the recent sanction meted out to the 11 Electricity Distribution Companies (DISCOs), the National Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) has begun modalities for credit adjustment for the cheated customers.
NERC, in its X handle confirmed that it “has sanctioned 11 DisCos for violating the cap on estimated bills for some unmetered customers”.
It has however opened a portal for the cheated customers to be refunded.
“If you are one of them, you may be eligible for a credit adjustment. Visit creditadjustments.nerc.gov.ng and enter your account number to find out.” It stated.
